For Safyre

I've still got a couple of weeks before I officially start, but I saw this story on Twitter and had to participate. 

There is an 8 year old girl in New York, Safyre, whose Father and Brothers were killed two years ago in a fire. Safyre was the only survivor and suffered serious burns as a result. As a result she has had over 50 surgeries and lost both a hand and foot to her injuries. 

Safyre now lives with her Aunt and recently told her she was excited to fill their decorative card tree with cards. In an effort to make her wish come true her Aunt sent the idea out to the internet- and that's where I/We come in. 

My unofficial first letter is on route to Safyre, with hopes it will arrive by Christmas. If you want to send your own card, the address and more details can be found in this Buzzfeed post. Even if the cards don't make it for Christmas they'll get there during the holiday season. 

According to Reddit she has received many, many, many boxes of cards so far but really can you ever have too much love? I don't think so :)
