Snowshoeing Adventures

Earlier this week I mentioned that we went snowshoeing in Gatineau Park last Saturday. I also promised pictures, and now after a week of patiently waiting I am ready to share them for your enjoyment. You'll have to wait a little longer for the Winterlude pictures though, I need to get them off Jay's camera.

In case you didn't read the last post, it was a beautiful day so K-Fran, Jay and I ventured to Gatineau Park to go snowshoeing. We ended up taking a free animal tracking tour, rather than trekking through the woods on our own. Sadly it was too cold and the snow was too icy to see any tracks. We did see some bear claw marks on a tree and learn a little bit about the creatures that make their home in the park. Best of all taking the tour saved us the $6/hour rental fee for the snowshoes.

How perfect is this a week before Valentine's Day?

Keep Smiling :)
