Sleepy Saturdays

A long sleepy day filled with, well what all good Saturdays are should be filled with: Fro-Yo and The Walking Dead

We slept in (win!) and then watched last Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead (eek!) and then laundry, couch surfing and washing dishes. We shook things up with a trip to get Fro-Yo it's probably time for an intervention. Self serve Fro-Yo is my kryptonite.

We then came home, Jay napped and I read Volume 2 of The Walking Dead graphic novels. I just love the depth of character development Robert Kirkman was able to achieve in the graphic novels.  They are quite a bit different from the TV series but very interesting. Considering how often The Walking Dead comes up in my day-to-day life and blog it's probably time for an intervention on this front too.

I should have spent the day doing homework, studying for yet another mid-term or really anything else but sometimes you need a break. Now it's time to watch Grey's Anatomy, chillax and perhaps attempt to engage in some wedding planning.

31 Days of Gratitude: Today I am grateful for amazing friends, especially those that have stuck by me as far back as elementary school (looking at you H-Mac & Benji!). I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded (even from a distance) by so many wonderful, caring, loving and hilarious people. I know I can be an annoying, ridiculous, dramatic and high maintenance friend and I am grateful to all of you lovely people who have been there for me through thick and thin. I don't know what I would do without you!

One final thing for tonight: go to YouTube, type in "Do The Harlem Shake," make sure your volume is on and don't click on any of the links. Just wait for it. I'm not really into the Harlem Shake madness but this is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing Flipster!

How did you spend this lovely Saturday? Do you need an intervention?
Keep Smiling :)
