July Obsessions

I know, I am totally wishy-washy on my blogging style but I want to try and connect with other bloggers again while continuing to share our life adventures with friends back in NS of course! I just love writing and our daily lives aren't always interesting enough to warrant a new post.

Today I want to share some of the things I'm loving this month, feel free to share some of your obsessions in the comments!

I'm about 5 years to late in realizing how awesome the tv show Greek is, but seriously it's pretty good for a show targeted at teens. I've been watching it on Netflix and I'm almost through all 4 seasons. I'd recommend it for light summer watching!

I've been obsessed with Toms for about a year now, but Jay got me a grey pair earlier this Spring and they might be my most favourite! They match everything, are super comfy and lightweight and for whatever reason make me smile every time I look at my feet.

We went to see The Heat last weekend and despite so-so reviews I thought it was hilarious! Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock are fabulous on their own, together they are just perfect. I think they should work together from now on!

I mentioned these Peanut Butter Squares once before but they are so delicious I am still obsessed. I made another batch, half PB & regular graham cracker crumbs and half with chocolate graham cracker crumbs. They are amazing. I've eaten 10 in less than 24 hours, if they weren't so good I'd be ashamed.

I've also mentioned this song before but I still can't get enough of Inner Ninja by Classified & David Myles. Both are east coast boys and I love their work separately but together they are unstoppable.

I am usually not a fan of TED talks (or video games) but I recently watched this one by Jane McGonigal who designed a computer game called Super Better that helps you find ways to be happier and improve your life essentially. It is a really cool concept, for me to pay attention during a TED talk it must be good!

Keep Smiling :)

  1. I watched Greek last summer and loved it! I would definitely watch it all over again if I had time. Also, saw The Heat and thought it was amazing. Cracking up the whole time.

    1. It's too bad we discovered Greek too late, maybe they'll bring it back like Veronica Mars! Although at some point I suppose they all have to graduate.
      Thanks for stopping by!!
