.... no it's not Christmas.
It's FALL!
Leaves are falling, pumpkins are growing and apples are ripe for the picking!
I used to be Summer's #1 Fan, showing up every June full of excitement ready to cheer for my favourite season, this was about 80% related to the fact that I'm a June baby.
Now that I've gotten over the idea that my birthday should be the most fantastic 24 hours of the year, I have grown to appreciate the beauty that Fall brings.
>Pumpkin Pie. I mean, who thought to put squash in dessert? They were a genius!
>Apple Picking- We found this great orchard about an hour from the city and they have free tractor rides & two corn mazes and lots of delicious apple treats to try!

> Fall Fashion. Cozy sweaters, wooly socks, tall boots. Even I can manage to look fashionable during the Fall.
> Hiking. Fall is a wonderful time to play in the woods, it's not as wet as the Spring or as hot or buggy as during the Summer.
> Thanksgiving. Canadian Thanksgiving is in October and is quickly becoming one of my favourite holidays- a day to give thanks and eat delicious food? What could be better?!??!
> Remembrance Day (in November). A day to remember the sacrifices made by soldiers and their families to keep Canada (and it's allies) safe. One of my favourite traditions is going to the Cenotaph with my dad to see the morning ceremony, hopefully that's one we will be able to start up again in 2015.
What are some of your Fall favourites? Do we have any in common?
Keep Smiling :)
