Letter 28

Today and tomorrow's letters are both headed to lovely Halifax institutions that mean so much to our community and though greatly utilized are probably under appreciated.

Letter 28 is for the Halifax Public Library Staff (my intention is for all of the staff at all of the branches- I couldn't pick one)! They work tirelessly to keep a love of reading alive, and to create a community environment in each of the branches. I would say they succeed!

Although I use the library to find books for myself most of my loans are for my preschoolers- who love the library almost as much as I do. Visits to the library to use the amazing Lego table or to participate in special events are always exciting! And being able to find books about anything, whenever we need it makes learning so fun (and easy)! Who doesn't love the library?!!??!?!

I am thankful everyday that public libraries still exist, are functional and continue to attract people who love their communities. The staff I've encountered at all library branches in HRM have been delightful and deserve all the praise I can heap on them!

With Love,

Kimberley
