Find A Way To Smile....

Blogging is so cyclical and leads me into a fiery pit of emotion.  I love it, hate it, miss it, obsess over it and then love it all over again. Right now I am stuck between hating and missing it, and can't seem to break out of either. I also really have no idea who actually awaits our life updates, but on the off chance people are actually looking for them I feel guilty to have been such a lazy blogger- even though my reasons were fairly legitimate legitimate.

This post has no logical direction, so consider yourself warned! The words are just swimming around in my head tonight, waiting to get out, no promises on what you're getting. 

1. I have watched all 128 episodes of Dawson's Creek in the last month, minus 4 Halloween episodes I deemed to spooky for my delicate sensibilities. I don't want to spoil the two episode finale for any fans out there, but I cried for 2 hours straight. Worst part is, I've seen it before at least twice. I made Jay watch the finale with me, he found my intense theatrics fairly entertaining.

2. Candy Cane Ice Cream is my (newest) weakness. It's Vanilla with candy cane pieces and "chocolate crackle" pieces. We've eaten two cartons in about two weeks, and I want more. It is amazing. 

3. Today, one of my kiddos sang a Joel Plaskett song, I was so delighted with life. It took me a few minutes to realize why I was suddenly so excited and why it was weird they knew the words. Joel isn't exactly a summer concert staple here in O-Town. 

4. In less than a month we will be seeing Joel Plaskett in concert with some of our favourite people. I am beyond stoked, as 2013 was really the year of the missed concerts. 2014 looks to be the year of the many concerts. 

5. Speaking of 2014, it is also less than a month away. I am ready, but also terrified it won't live up to my high expectations. If all goes according to plan (and really when does that happen), it already looks like a busy, but exciting year. 

6. I keep looking at the Dawson picture and laughing. Luckily age and hair product has been kind to dear old Dawson. Also, according to the internet (which never lies) most of the cast has said they'd do a reunion show- get on it guys!

7. Keeping with the Dawson's Creek theme, I was always on team Pacey. Except when he had the goatee, it just made him look so sleazy. I mean, how cute is this family?

8. Is it Friday yet? I love my job, but today was a particularly disillusioning day. It makes me nervous for what tomorrow will bring. I just have a differing approach and a fear of conflict which is causing me a little trouble today. 

9. I have sent Jay with treats for his friends at work at least once a week for the last three weeks. It's getting out of hand. On the bright side sharing treats means I get the fun of baking,  but eat a little less sugar! 

10. The. Walking. Dead. I watched it last night on speaker phone with my sister and still haven't fully come to terms with all that (may or may not have) happened. February feels awfully far away at this point. 

Well, this basically turned into a Ten on Tuesday post so I think I will link it up with some lovely blogging ladies. Guess I'm back in this blogging game, at least for tonight!
