How is it Sunday already?!?!?!

Hey! 

So I had great intentions of making a vlog (that's a video blog!) this weekend to share with y'all but I just ran out of time! Hahah. A likely story I know. But for serious, Jay & I managed to be out almost all weekend which hasn't happened since we were moving in 5 months ago! 

He is still recovering from the dreaded man cold, lots of coughing and whining (not unlike me with a cold sadly!) so I was picturing a fairly low key weekend. Not the case though dear friends, he manned up as they say and off we went at 9:00am Saturday morning to the mall, ahaha. I was desperately in search of a Jessica Simpson purse.. seriously ask Jay I've talked of nothing but it for about a month now. Sadly they only had trashy ones, but I did get a different purse that is supa' fly. I also dragged Jason through several stores looking for a black cardigan sweater, and then stopped to look at a jacket and he says "You totally have the shoulders to pull that off!" ahhaha, isn't that what every girl wants to hear! I laughed a lot and told him not to say that as a compliment anymore!

Shopping was mostly a success, I am one step closer to realizing my dream to be as fashionable as a Kardashian. Or to at least make something resembling an effort when I get up in the morning! I have a tote bag I carry to work everyday that is a knock off of one Kim Kardashian was spotted with a couple of years ago! I swear I had no idea when I bought it but it totally worked out in my favor, now I head off every morning bombarded by Paparazzi asking where I got my wardrobe! BAHAHAH!

Anyway so after a four hour stint at the mall it was off to meet some bros to go Tux shopping for Donald & Kristen's wedding. A definite highlight was when the woman measuring Jason commented on the junk in his trunk. Hi-larious! Then we all caught up over coffee's (sadly Tim's no longer has candy cane hot chocolate!)...twas a lovely afternoon. 

We then went on a marathon grocery trip, somehow we managed to spend more than we usually do in a way shorter amount of time. Slightly disheartening, but I suppose we've got to eat. I've been making a lot of the homemade Salsa I used to make with my favorite boss & the kiddies last year.. it is delicious!

J-Dar and I also managed to get through a two hour, forty-three minute and 17 seconds long skype conversation. It was somewhere between wonderful and ridiculous, and then at her insisting I spent the next 80 minutes of my life watching the first episode of The Jersey Shore. Can we just talk about how I loved it! Hahah, huge surprise I know, that I would be totally crazy for some terribly trashy TV show but I am. I laughed every time they called Snooki snickers or whatever other ridiculous names they thought of! 

Now, if Saturday doesn't sound like enough fun for you, this morning we dragged our butts out of bed early to go to the Lululemon Warehouse sale that was being held in Ottawa this year. It started on Friday, with line-up's as long as 4-5 hours just to get into the sale but by today most of the good stuff was gone so we only waited about 45 minutes to get in. I was able to get a hoodie for $39, which is an incredible deal as they usually sell for $108 so it was worth the wait, men's clothes ended up being any 4 items for $100 which was an even better deal so he got some sweet workout clothes too.

All in all we were there for about 2.5 hours, not too shabby to save a couple hundred dollars on clothes we probably didn't need! Hahah. We also got free hats & scarves when we left as well, which was exciting, I do love me some free stuff! I failed at taking any photos well we were there, but picture a big auditorium, filled with lulu and people who love it and you've pretty much got it figured out!

So yeah, that's about it for this weekend, now it's somehow after 4pm on Sunday and I feel like I didn't have a break at all. But we socialized, shopped and didn't spend all weekend staring at each other so it sure seems like a success! Now to tackle another week at work!
