Ok, so I think I missed another weekly update, but lucky for you I am going to cram two weeks worth of fun into this entry! And your luck continues as this is going to be a photo blog! WOOT!
Before I jump right into the photo fun though, I'll share a couple life updates to try and give the photos some context.
1) My placement is finished! Three weeks of freedom now await me, my supervisor gave me a photo album with all the kids and some of their favourite activities in it, totally sweet! Friday afternoon we had the Christmas party too, so I got to spend my last afternoon in complete happy chaos, drinking juice boxes and dancing to Frosty the Snowman.
2) I lost my engagement ring in the couch last Sunday night. Like way down deep, and Jay was at a wedding, and then away all week for work so I had to wait 5 days to get it back. I'm sure you think I'm exaggerating but the loveseat is heavy and awkward, I couldn't lift it on my own so after as much digging in the sides as I could manage I had to give up. Oh and did I mention I had just gotten the ring sized on Friday, yup, I had it for THREE days before I lost it, so it's spent more time in the couch than on my finger as of yet. Luckily Jay likes fixing things and wasn't even mad I lost it, though he was a little annoyed when I wanted to look for it at the same time he wanted to make dinner.
3) Jay was in a wedding this week for one of his friends. I couldn't make it because of placement, especially since Jay wasn't coming back to Ottawa afterwards. He said it was beautiful though and they did lots of dancing!
If I write anymore this will turn from photo blog into, long, ridiculously silly, regular blog.
I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Sunday afternoon. I am going to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie.

A little pre-wedding love
Silly faces, as per usual.
Jay looking fly in his tux. I can't wait to see their wedding photos!
Predictions and results for a Candy Cane Science experiment I did with the kiddos. Just put the candy canes in hot or cold water and see what happens! Awesome! I've done it three times in a week, and I still find it fascinating!
Jay under our upside down love seat searching for the ring, hard to tell from the picture but we also had to cut the bottom open.
Me, super excited once he found it (at this point he was probably still under the loveseat haha!)
Both of us, super excited to have the ring back!
Celebratory champagne, to celebrate Jay finishing his course, and me finishing placement number one!
So a couple weeks ago we went to a clay firing paint shop to make Christmas tree ornaments, and we finally got them back. To make things fun I am not going to tell you which masterpiece is mine, clearly I did not inherit my fathers gift with a paint brush!
You didn't spend your Saturday night at the mall? For shame. FYI we didn't break this sword, I started duelling Jay and when he picked up a sword to fight back this is what he picked. Fail!
My new winter coat! You like it right?
While we were at the mall we decided to go visit with Santa Claus. He was ever so jolly, he wanders the mall visiting the other shops when he has no visiters, hilarious to picture Santa Claus in the pet store!
I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Sunday afternoon. I am going to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie.
Keep Smiling :)
*P.S. You can thank Jay for the completely unrelated title, that was all him! It's about music, he danced as he suggested it, but it's even funnier to picture a town made of different types of jam (Ok, that part's my idea!)
