Tonight is possibly one of the greatest nights of 2013 (so far), because... The Walking Dead returns to TV! Cue excited squeals, sadly I don't get AMC so I'll have to wait and catch it OnDemand later this week but I am beyond excited that this fabulous show is coming back to my living room every week. I've also taking a liking to the comic book series, it is pretty different from the show but equally awesome!
Funny enough I have felt fairly zombie like this, coherent thoughts and spelling have been very challenging. Not good considering were almost to the middle of the semester which means LOTS of papers to write. So if this post seems a little more discombobulated than usual I'm sorry!
I blogged quite a bit more than usual this week, so I have a little less news to share this time around. It is also a little late now so I am lacking in motivation to write a great long story for your entertainment.
It was a pretty regular week, lots of school work, volunteering and adventures with K-Fran. We are already down to her last week in this glorious city. Hard to believe how fast time can pass.
I've also been preparing some posts about Valentine's Day treats I've been making to share. I'm trying to keep the element of surprise though so I think I delay the posts until after Valentine's Day. Not so helpful to you this year, but they aren't such specific ideas that you couldn't use them another time!
Alright, the Grammy's are on and I'm having a hard time checking out the fashion while writing. Here are a few pictures of my adventures (and ridiculousness) this past week.
I share a locker with two lovely ladies and I had a Twilight magazine at home (don't ask!) and thought what better way to start a Thursday morning than by filling the locker with pictures. I wrote a joke on one: What kind of flowers should you never give on Valentine's Day? Cauliflowers :)
After the Twilight shenanigans, I managed to score free hot chocolate thanks to the student association, and all sorts of delicious baked goods from a student bake sale for a very low price! I was sugar high for about half an hour and then I crashed hard.
I wore this to school one day, I have become a big fan of wearing tights as pants with H&M dresses over top. My eyes are kinda red but just admire my fashion choices haha.
So, we got a snow storm on Friday, about 20cm of snow. This is my happy face as I walked to the bus Friday afternoon.
My walk home on Friday. The snow was very sparkly, though you can't tell from the picture. It looked like crystals.
So I saw this clock at a toy store yesterday, I'm referring to the "Kim The Talking Wall Clock" not the weird Ballerina clock underneath (K-Fran has suggested a caption contest for the Ballerina clock though, so feel free to share captions in the comments!). I can't think of anyone I know who would want a clock that talks as much as I do!
Keep Smiling :)
That's quite a clock...that Ballerina clock....uh-huh...yup
ReplyDeleteI remember the days of our roomate-hood where one valentine's day I came home to Edward Cullen on my door with hilarious proposals of love to me...
