Friday marked the official half way mark of my placement and words cannot express my gratitude for that. It is an exhausting amount of work trying to keep everyone happy and meet my school requirements. The kids are great though and I am learning a ton about implementing play based curriculum and leading science inquiries so there is a bright side.
We have been our usual boring selves this week. We've been doing a lot of reading which then has led to some interesting conversations but doesn't necessary lend itself to an interesting blog post!
We played frisbee one night for about ten minutes because I was so tired I couldn't focus long enough to catch it. I was probably not Jay's favourite person that day.
We went on an adventure to have our first outdoor frozen yogurt and as we ate outside on the coldest night in about three weeks it felt like we were back in NS. Nothing says summer like eating ice cream (ok, fro yo) outside while you are shivering, right?

We're off to enjoy what's left of this Saturday (we may have actually spent 12 hours sleeping last night/this morning)! Hope you have a fantastic weekend, I recommend getting some fro yo if you have a chance!!
Keep Smiling :)
