Summer Loving

June has been one lovely month thus far. Eight glorious days in Halifax, followed by 8 glorious days of vacation with my wonderful man friend. 

We travelled to Watertown, NY for a shopping trip (I'm obsessed with Burlington Coat Factory!), Olive Garden and also checked out the zoo while we were there. I think I said "This is the best day ever" about 40 times an hour during our three day trip. It got a little out of hand. 

Then we came home, unpacked and reloaded the car and headed out on a four night camping adventure! We took lots of pictures, so I'll share half now and half tomorrow (you lucky ducks, getting two days of pictures!).

Sadly, there were no bears but there were lots of cute otters.

The closest we will get to ocean-like views for a while.

Still a little cold for swimming, though we tried! 

Tomorrow, I'll share the pictures from part two of our vacation when we visited giant roadside attractions. Again I exclaimed, "This is the best thing ever" about every two minutes. I just couldn't handle the awesomeness! 

All in all, a fantastic way to kick of summer 2013!
