Yep. That's a reference to Paris Hilton's 2009 hit song, Stars Are Blind. No need to thank me, I know it's your favourite song too!
Edit: I took the video out of this post, it was just kind of icky.

It's Friday! I am ecstatic, it's just so wonderful to be thisclose to finished for another week and have some time to relax. This week was actually most excellent though so I really shouldn't be complaining.
+ At work we took the kids to a giant indoor playground, one that adults can also play on. I am a huge chicken but I followed those kiddies to the top of the structure at least a dozen times, climbing on mesh that I didn't really believe could hold me up, but luckily I survived. It was a lot of fun and we were the only group there so the kids had this giant structure to themselves for hours! AMAZING!
+ I had dinner with my babysitting family (I don't really babysit for them anymore but the name works!) and best of all it wasn't an invite cooked up by me or their mom, but by the kiddies themselves. It is always a high point of my week!
+ Wednesday Jay had frisbee, where they played the best team in the league and didn't get totally crushed, so that's great! While he was out I was able to Skype with my parents which was also great. Skype is one amazing invention!
+ Last night we went to an Astronomy talk, given Jay's undergrad it seemed like something he'd be into and he was, though it wasn't quite the presentation he was expecting. I thought it was both fascinating and terribly boring all in one (how Jay feels during my nightly monologues I'm sure!). If nothing else it served as a good reminder that I never want to go back to school!
+Speaking of school, it's finally official, diploma in hand. I am done. Thank goodness. It was a long year, as I'm sure my whiny posts suggested, but now it's over and I can move on with my life! WOOT!
+I borrowed the book World War Z from one of Jay's friends and finished it in two days. I know I am always talking about Zombies but this was just a fantastic book (the movie apparently is nothing like it). I find war history fascinating anyway so this appealed to me on that level. It is well written, interesting, vivid and really made me think about angles I'd never considered. I highly recommend it!

+This weekend we are going to check out Bluesfest which is all anyone can talk about in Ottawa this week. I can't even wait!
Alrighty, work awaits. Hope your week was fabulous and enjoy the weekend!
Keep Smiling :)
I was just thinking today that I wish I had a car so I could go to this little art show in my home town...soon I will get the scary piece of paper that says I can drive. Have a good weekend!
