Don't Say Goodbye

I have written and deleted FIVE posts in the last two days that, to quote a little Fall Out Boy,  basically said "Thanks for the Memories." I was ready to give this here blog up for good.

The posts were done, ready to be published. Yet, I couldn't hit that familiar orange button no matter how ready I thought I was.

And now, here we are.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because I love blogging but I hate being on the computer. The longer I'm on the computer the more rageful I get. It's really not fun.

I want more 'free' time to read books, like this one Joey just published THIS WEEK!

I want to spend my nights relaxing after work, not working for hours on my blog and then going to bed late only to wake up early to work on my blog again.

I want to live my life without being concerned about "getting a picture for the blog."

These lists and complaints are all too familiar in blogland and I won't bore you with any more reasons. Just know that even if I'm not posting I'm still reading! That's a promise.

I feel so blessed to be able to blog and to have connected, however briefly, with so many wonderful people.

So, for now it's not goodbye. It might just be, see ya less often, I really can't say for sure what might happen around here.

If you made it to the end of this post imagine I am giving you an overly excited two handed HIGH-FIVE!

High Fives aren't as exciting as free cars, but if you got my Oprah reference than you totally get a bonus high five!
Keep Smiling :)

Linking this up with Kristin for another instalment of Stuff & Things

  3. I understand what you mean. It can become a full-time hobby that seems like a job…balance is key. I blog what I want to blog, when I want to blog it. 6 days a week? No thank you. 3-4 is my usual these days. Quality over quantity :)
I'm glad you did come back though and didn't give it up!
