Why, Hello There

I was blogging every day like a champ for, what was that, 3 weeks?!?!? Then I lost all motivation. 

I loved the idea of the Blog-tember Challenge but some of the ideas just didn't jive with my blogging vibe (yep, just used both the words jive and vibe in the same sentence). I suppose that's where the CHALLENGE part comes in, but let's be real- I like things to be easy breezy. 

In addition to giving up posting, I gave up reading and commenting last week. It's not that I don't love y'all I just was fighting a cold and embracing being totally lazy. 

Here's the scoop on life around here lately, 

Fall stopped by Ottawa for a few days, but was quickly chased out by sunny summer days again. Yesterday definitely climbed above 30C which is pretty darn hot, especially for the end of September. 

I had to snap this on my way to work one cool morning, it just felt so fall-like! 

Jay & I celebrated 5 whole months of being married with an exciting trip to the grocery store. Ahh, romance. 

I know, you are sick of wedding photos- but they are the best quality photos I have to share and I just keep finding ways to work them in! Courtesy of our lovely photographer. 

I've adjusted to my new work schedule and the tiny little kiddos that we now spend half the day with. My co-worker and I have also been doing a bunch of great dinosaur related activities which have been a big hit! I love my job!

Oh, and we made some delicious apple sauce with the kiddos at work- they were so into it!

Speaking of apples, Jay & I went apple picking, back when it felt a little bit like fall around here and enjoyed an afternoon of over-priced fudge, apple donuts, tractor rides, corn mazes and of course apple picking!

I started reading Fall Of Giants by Ken Follett. It's part 1 of The Century Trilogy and I am really enjoying it. It's the perfect book for a history lover like me!
