Today's letter heads to Alex MacLean and the East Coast Lifestyle team. Alex created the company as part of a university project and it's grown into a very popular brand in these parts. The recognizable logo is perfect for reppin' my homeland while travelling and was a great conversation piece when I was still living in Ottawa.
Besides the fact that it's a total feel good story of what hard work and a dream can accomplish, Alex has proven to be a wonderful human being. There are often stories of hoodies being donated to local charities and other kind gestures to support the community. Then there are the little gestures, like free ponchos available on the rainy Saturday when the first ECL store opened.
There is just so much about this brand, it's founder and it's message that I can't get enough of!
