Dear 19 Year Old Me (Part 2)

Last week I published part 1 of this letter to myself at 19, writing about the things I should do differently. Now I'm going to give myself a little credit for the good choices I made!

Dear 19 Year Old Me,

A Few Things You Should Do Again (It Works Out For The Best I Promise),

Work Hard: Those late nights writing papers will pay off eventually, and adding a second minor will prove to be one of your smartest decisions ever. Seriously.

Volunteer & Work At The Student Newspaper: Sure, there's some drama but it's a great (and easy!) job and it will keep you included in the campus community which will give you some of the best memories. Just try and be a *little* more serious in your reporting. SMUdents is not a word, even if you think it's clever.

Join PitCrew: Do It! Do It! Do It! Sure, it's a boys club but you were practically made for sliding down muddy hills and cheering during football games. It will land you a great trip to T.Dot and make for great stories. Before you join take up jogging though, being the last one up the steps every time can be embarrassing!
Surprisingly still one of the things I am most proud of in my life!  So carefree.
Say Yes When Robbie Tries To Set You Up: It will seem sketchy, you will have your doubts about the legitimacy of the offer- but give it a try. An awkward hockey game double date will be totally worth it in the end.

Move In With Flippy & The Girls: You will realize five girls (& Jay) under one roof is a lot, but it will make for great memories and the chance to really enjoy your last year of university. Plus, there will always be someone to eat ice cream with and you'll have pet fish.
Such an amazing girl!

Go To Disney World, New York, Niagara Falls & Belfast: Actually, go everywhere you can. Never say no to travelling! Someday you'll have a "real" job and it will be much harder!
Dancing with Genie in Florida//Relaxing at Giant's Causeway in Belfast//
Hailing a cab in New York City
What advice would you give your 19 year old self? What choices did you make then that you would make again?

Keep Smiling :)
