Yup, I Love You and #OOTD

#OOTD
Sweater: Smart Set ($10)// Skirt: Forever21 ($8) Boots: GoJane ($20)
Jay was late for work, and I haven't brushed my hair. But I really wanted
a picture of my outfit so even though I'm a hot mess and the
lighting is terrible I'm sharing it anyway!

So, last weekend I completely revamped my blog and also appear to have overhauled my post style. Probably most importantly started actually linking-up and commenting on all the wonderful blogs I've been reading for a while now.

My efforts have started to pay off and I've been getting comments on my posts, which has made me positively giddy. Seeing the effect they have on me makes me all the more certain commenting on other blogs is worth it- it's so lovely knowing people are reading your words everyday!

Anyway, that's another post altogether about blogging and commenting and all the logistics.

On top of getting comments, I've gotten a few new followers and I had a post tweeted about. So basically my life is made. Can you tell I'm new to twitter? I still have to look for the post button every.single.time.

Today I just want to say you are awesome to everyone whose been showing me some blog love this week. I am so happy!

Oh, and share this conversation I had with Jay about my excitement over all this blog love.

Tuesday morning, 5 minutes later than I usually leave for work.

Me: *leaps off the couch, runs down the [short] hallway to find Jay, once he's been found I start shouting* "Jay! Guess What!?!?!?! I have comments on my blog!!!" *Runs back down the hallway frantically*

Jay: *shakes his head at me*

Me: *runs back down the hall* "I WAS TWEETED ABOUT!!!!!!!!"

Jay: "You're going to be late for work"

Me: "Yeah, but I have friends on the internet, so who needs a job?"

Jay: *shakes his head again*

I'm not making this stuff up! I wrote it down so I could get it accurate later. I probably need a second job.
So, there you have it. I don't need to exercise because I run around my tiny apartment often enough and I think we're friends based on that one time you noticed me. So basically, I'm clingy. You should probably run.

Don't worry your wedding invites are in the mail!

Update: I'm linking this up with Shane at Whispering Sweet Nothings for her Weekend Wanderings (a no rules link-up to keep the blog world alive on the weekend)!

Keep Smiling :)

    1. It really is! Completely changes my whole mood! Especially once I realized my phone can handle confirming comments. It used to always break when I tried!
