What Up My Peeps?!?!?

We finally made it to Ottawa and got to get out of the car which is amazing. While on this 2 day adventure I learned that I need to learn French or stay the heck out of Quebec, letting Jay order for me felt a little archaic, mostly because I am such a control freak, luckily the chicken tasted like chicken. I also learned that I think Eminem is a genius, that Love the Way You Lie song, although incredibly violent and scary is very well written and it made me think of all his other songs that I love like 8 Mile. I finally understand your obsession Laura!

I also learned that I sound EXACTLY like the man in Secondhand Serenade when singing the song Fall For You, our voices meet in perfect harmony. It's a real fact, for sure. I also learned that the jeep has 2 little beetles living in it, which is kind of icky. Oh and I learned that one of the Bruins DROPPED the Stanley Cup.. what a disaster! Haha, as if I really care about that.

Now, onto something very exciting that I hope you all are ready for...... **drumroll please**

Below is Rexy, you may call him Sexy Rexy or just Rexy the choice is yours. Many of you may remember Trusty Rusty from high school, well this is Rusty's brother (So what if he's a squirrel and Rusty is a boy... all families have secrets!) For the rest of you not cool enough to be at CHDHS Rusty is a doll sized man we bought to send with Holly on her European travels, he caught the travel bug so Sarah and I then took him to Belfast where he got into all kinds of trouble. Rexy is ready to follow in his broseph's footsteps and begin a life of adventure but he is a bit of a pansy so he decided to stay in Canada for the first of his adventures.

Sexy Rexy perched on our balcony of our upgraded suite in Riviere du Loop. He was scared, can't you tell?!?!

In the near future Rexy and I are going to make a rap video for your enjoyment he loves to drop a beat. He also loves Harry Potter, as evident from the glasses (he doesn't even need them to see!!) and of course he is super sexy (and over 18!). He is mischievous though, check out this note he wrote while Jay and I were unpacking!

Sadly, since he was mean to Jason we had a stern talk about including everyone and not being rude. He won't do it again! 

Enough about Rexy; We are getting the keys to our new place tonight so hopefully we can get moved into our new place tomorrow and start living the dream. We're even going to go to Ikea tonight to get a head start on that dream! Word.

I love all the comments and that y'all are still reading it, it makes me super happy :) I have two days of after-school program work to look forward to now, and possibly more days which I am super stoked about and I can even walk to work! Like not because I'm crazy and like to walk but because it's around the corner! 

We're having dinner at "the cowboy restaurant," Jay thinks it's called Lonestar but I am sure it's "the cowboy restaurant." They all wear plaid and you get homemade salsa and chips while you wait and they play country music. If I had the hand-eye coordination and stayed awake past 9pm I would so work there!
