Holy Moly!

I have become an epic fail on the blog front, and the letter writing front and just generally the being a good friend from a far distance. Don't despair, I promise I will try harder next week to be a part of your lives! I miss you all and Nova Scotia greatly, I think that's why I didn't write as much I was off my game earlier this week really feeling more homesick than I have since we left. I'm not so forlorn now, it was just a couple of days of emotional Kim, replaced by the usual completely calm and rational Kim :) Luckily Jay is extremely patient with me and my emo days and I am now back to my usual ray of sunshine ways!

Since I last wrote, I've worked 5 days (albeit not full ones) at the new job, and it took me a couple of days to overcome the obstacles I set up for myself and crank the pressure down a notch or two, but I'm starting to get the hang of it and I think once I figure it all out I will love it. I also finished up the other job, so no more dodgeball for me for a while sadly, that is the one real downside--I've never had a job where I didn't spend a good portion of the day playing something, I'll have to compensate with extra silly time in the evenings some how. Perhaps I'll incorporate more foolishness into this masterpiece I call a blog. I am planning a video of epic proportions ahah, I just need a little more time to really plan it out.

Jay and I embarked on a new adventure tonight.... We went to hot yoga. It was intense. I am fearful my body will be angry at me tomorrow but it was nice to stretch and sweat and leave the stress of the week behind. (I know that sounds mostly silly but it's all true).. I am not very good at relaxing my mind though... hard to imagine I know! But back to the yoga, Jason thought the instructor was "curt" but I found her effective in making me push myself but I was too sweaty to accomplish much.. probably too much information but now you know!

I drove to and from work every day this week, all by myself and rocked it! I could win awards in my drive-thru parking lot spot parking, no joke. I just pull right it and it's always perfect. I make Jason come out and back it in when I get home though I don't really like backing up! As I write this I realize I do myself no favours in convincing you all that I am a competent driver but I do tend to lean towards the dramatic so take it all with a grain of thought.

Apparently Sobey's does exist in Ontario land here I'd come to accept I was going to be a superstore shopper, but apparently there are Sobey's here so I will investigate this and keep you posted! I think they are a little far from our house so I might maintain my loyalty to superstore we just started to figure out where everything is.

As the above paragraphs indicate my life is a thrilling adventure right now. Tomorrow I am going to read a book and do laundry and get a police record check. Should be scintillating. Rexy is home all day while Jay and I earn a living and he gets no housework done. Just sits and watches TV, he is becoming partial to that Anderson Cooper show even though no one watches it.  He is an adult he should probably get a job and contribute to the bills but you try and tell him that! I don't think I mentioned it before but he has mad nun-chuk skills so you can't cross him.

Well it is past my bed time, I promise I will take a photograph or make a movie soon, this blog needs a little more interactivity I believe. I also have lots of opinions on the news and things, but I've been trying not to be political, but if you like I can start sharing those thoughts with you.
