I've been reading many blogs in the past few weeks and came across Dear Monday Letters and thought I'd give it a try today! I don't know if I've quite got the hang of it just yet, but I'm trying. Megan at Happy Day does these posts beautifully.
Dear Monday: Thank you for kickstarting the first of many weeks of vacation with such productivity. Getting up early has given me a chance to do laundry, clean up the clutter and even go to school for my remaining immunizations.
Dear Ottawa Public Libraries: You made my day by having the book I need for the Young Georgia Love Blogger Book Club on express loan. The regular wait is months, but I was able to walk right in and pick it up today, as long as I can read it in seven days I'm golden. In case you are wondering (or want to join the club), the book is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I love books about the circus, so I am excited to start reading.
Dear Stones Into Schools: Thirty pages in and you are absolutely living up to my expectations. You are a much needed break from the trashy books I've been reading as of late. Please continue being awesome so I am not disappointed.
Dear Ikea: Thank you for having the most delicious frozen yogurt, the closet layouts I dream of and these nifty little storage boxes to alleviate the clutter in our bedroom while our bed drawers aren't usable.
Dear Nova Scotia: Please stay put, I will be home in just a few short days and cannot wait to see you. If you can be as beautiful as this photo I would appreciate that as well.

Ikea & FroYo, a perfect evening :) |
Much better than an overflowing laundry basket |

Oh Ocean, I miss you. |
Keep Smiling :)
Hey, I found you on Life of Meg. I love this idea! It's like a new spin on a gratitude journal that I can totally get behind. Cool!
ReplyDeleteI've never had Ikea's frozen yogurt but boy do I love that store. I could honestly stay there for hours upon hours. Hello heaven.
ReplyDeleteI love IKEA! A trip is never complete without a 49cent fro-yo. I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster Award on my blog today. It's just 11 questions about yourself, and then you nominate 11 more bloggers! I hope you check it out! celebratingtheday.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Emily
