Happy Wednesday!

I started a blog on Monday morning, ran out of time to finish it and now here it is Wednesday morning! Needless to say I've been busy the past few days.

I'm using Jay's computer so I don't have any pictures to share. If you are craving photos check out my last post instead!

Monday I went to Costco and enjoyed some free samples. I went out with my grandparents and my dad running errands, and had coffee with my former boss! Then I headed out for an old school slumber party with my BFF's. We read Cosmo, ate cupcakes and candy and caught up on life. It was seriously awesome!

Tuesday was Jay's parents thirtieth wedding anniversary! This finally brought Jay back to our homeland and we celebrated their anniversary with a big family dinner. They are really an inspiration to Jay and I.

I visited my grandparents again Tuesday as well. Every time I stop by their house my nan has another baked good for me to try. She never stops baking!

I've been trying to keep up on all the Olympic action but there is always so much going on. Canada is up to four medals which is pretty exciting, three were earned within a couple of hours yesterday! I think there is some archery on this afternoon which I am pretty excited for (largely based on my obsession with The Hunger Games and The Walking Dead.)

All in all life is grand as always. Jay and I are off to his parent's trailer for a few days. Hopefully the sun comes out and we are able to enjoy the sights of another beautiful Nova Scotia town! Now that my official blog photographer is back around I'll be sure to get some pictures for my next post.

Hard to believe August is here already! Hope July wrapped up wonderfully for you and that August holds another month of summer fun.

My blogging has been sporadic lately but things will be calming down in the next week or so. Once we get back to Ottawa I'll be back to posting on a regular basis! I'm also running low on title ideas (hence, Happy Wednesday!) Jay and I may have spent fifteen minutes trying to come up with something clever- clearly it failed.

Keep Smiling :)
