Life is such a magical thing, it's full of ups and downs, laughter and frustration. Ideally the two balance each other out. I sometimes struggle to see the upside, and get bogged down and stressed out with the less glorious side of life. It's all an adventure and it's important not to lose sight of that. Now that my pep talk for myself is done, I've got many photos and stories to share with you fine folks this evening.
It's Movemeber and Jay's growing yet another moustache, and this time I've got to say it's his best yet. Must have something to do with his cozy sweater (complete with elbow pads) and the fact he's twenty-five now.
Jay and I went on an impromptu date late last week to East Side Marios. We gorged ourselves on salad and bread, and enjoyed delicious (though expensive) pasta! We ignored our phones and really focused on each other and had a lovely evening.
All dressed up for our date (ok, so I'm in my clothes from school).
So, I tried to leave the house dressed like this. Jay said he wouldn't be seen with me. In hindsight I can't say that I blame him.
I baked some double chocolate cookies and they turned out delicious, if I do say so myself.
We had dinner with a couple of friends, homemade stir fry and wine out of shiny cat shaped bottle (it was good). We watched possibly the best movie of our time, 2-Headed Shark Attack. The only way it could have been better would have been if it was in 3-D. Apparently you can watch it for free on YouTube.

After dinner we went on a field trip to the grand opening of Kiwi Kraze and enjoyed free self serve frozen yogurt. Very similar to the delicious fro yo we had at Menchie's earlier this week. I am in love with this concept, if you visit us in Ottawa we will definitely frolic there.
My binder for placement is ridiculously organized, probably won't last too long. I've gone through stages of nervousness and sheer terror but now I am feeling relaxed and excited.
I've been working hard on our scrapbook, after months of neglect. In two days I finished about sixteen pages, I am ridiculously proud of it.
Hope you had a fantastic weekend and took a few moments to remember today.
Keep Smiling :)
