Ahoy Matey! Ideas On Fashion

Unrelated to this post, but related to the title, I have a pirate joke for you that one of my kinders taught me last year.

Q: "What is a pirate's favourite letter?"

A: "You may think it be the 'RRRRRrrrrrrr' but it is the 'CCC.'"

Get it, C? Sea? Because pirates sail on the sea? Hilar.

Ok, this Blog-tember challenge is a tough one: "Pick a fashion trend you love and a fashion trend you hate. Win us over!"

Truth be told I am far from fashionable, I like skirts, t-shirts and cardigans and like things that are on sale ($10 or less makes me do a happy dance). I don't really understand fashion trends or follow the styles, so I would caution you against taking my advice on anything fashion related.

Ok, Love.

Anchors. Nautical Prints.

If it's got a seaside vibe I love it. Love it. I think it as something to do with my seaside upbringing. I would have a closet full of this stuff, if it wouldn't be a tad overkill to wear it all the time. Seriously though, how cute is that dress?

Ok, Hate... hmmmm.

I actually can't think of any trends I hate, any trends I haven't liked I eventually grew to at least accept. Crocs (love them), leggings as pants (double love), gladiator sandals (love them on Russell Crowe), maxi skirts (so lazy and comfy!).

Brave Love Blog

What are your fashion must-haves? Are you more decisive then me, do you actually have a trend that you hate?

Keep Smiling :)

  2. Leggings as pants forever! I don't think I put real pants on once last fall/winter...

  3. I love the nautical theme so much that it's also in my room! Give me navy, gray and coral and I'm a happy girl! I popped over from the blog-tember Challenge, thanks for sharing!

  4. That dress is awesome! It took me awhile to get with the whole leggings trend but last summer I grew to love them :)

  5. I hate hi-low dresses! I wore one about 4 years (when they weren't popular) ago as a bridesmaid dress and it was just horrid! They were also sewn by hand and very poorly made. I still have nightmares about that dress.
